Aaron Raper, 41, of Englewood, TN passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.

Aaron was an animal lover. He enjoyed being outdoors, looking at waterfalls, hiking, and gardening. In his free time, he enjoyed bowling and listening to music.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wayne "Wobbs" and Sharon Wilson; Paternal grandfather, Dean Raper; paternal grandmother, Rhea Borden; step-mother, Deborah Raper; step-mother, Lenore Raper.

Survivors include his mother, Ronna Wilson; father, Mike Raper; sister and brother-in-law, Rachael and Matthew Ledford; fiancé, Elizabeth Rollins; nephew, Hayden Ledford; niece, Kayla Ledford; mamaw, Pat Brown; papaw, Cecil "Ploot" Borden; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2024 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. Per Aaron's wishes, there will be no memorial service following the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the McMinn Regional Humane Society, "MRHS", 320 S. Jackson St., Suite A, Athens, TN 37303.
