Adela Helen Wachta McClary, 91, of Etowah, TN passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015 at her residence. Adela was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and the daughter of the late Stanley and Helen Kulig Wachta. Preceded in death by her parents; and older sister, Olga.

Survivors include her husband, Robert L. McClary; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Alice McClary of Franklin, TN, Richard and Shahrzad McClary of Regensburg, Germany; grandchildren, Cain, Elizabeth, Harrison and Tydings.

Adele and husband, Robert owned and operated McClary's Etowah Hardware for over five decades. She proudly and successfully portrayed the small business owner in pursuit of the American Dream.

A private graveside service was held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Benton Memorial Gardens with Rev. G. Hendree Harrison, Jr. officiating.
