Agnes Evelyn Joines, 86 of Riceville went home to be with the lord Monday, August 22, 2016 at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Arthur and Viola May Shamblin Barker; and long time member of Eastanallee Baptist and current member of Double Springs Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, J.C. Joines; parents; siblings, Leslie Barker, John Lee Barker, Ruth Barker, C.A. Barker, Nellie Faye Barker, Flora Barker, Mildred Barker, Violet Barker, James Barker and Alice Barker; granddaughter, Tammy Brock

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Delores and Lonnie Moses of Riceville; sister, Minnie Dilbeck, 96 of Chattanooga; 2 granddaughters and spouses, Melissa and Greg Smith of Riceville, Patricia and Jimmy Stephens of Tellico Plains; 6 great-grandchildren, Coty Smith, LaShay Smith, Hope Freeman, Kristin Watkins, Andrew Stephens and Victoria Stephens

4 great-great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Alli, Anna and Xander.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 25, 2016 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Byron Talbot and Bro Randy Harmon officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 26, 2016 and proceed to Chestua Baptist Church Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. Committal service.
