Albert "Ray" Gill, 74, of Etowah, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 at his home.

He was the husband of Mona Mullinax Gill and they shared 23 years of marriage together. He was born in Hugo, Oklahoma on August 9, 1950, to Albert Roy Gill and Edith Florida Brennan Gill. He graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1968; and he worked as a carpenter for many years. He enjoyed coffee, spending time with family and friends, fishing, and playing on his computer. He will be remembered for having a huge heart and always willing to help anyone. He enjoyed visiting people and joking with them in his own special way.

He is preceded in death by his father, Albert Roy Gill; mother, Edith Florida Brennan Gill; sister, Lois Helen White (Corky); and brother, Roy Lee Gill.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mona Gill; children, Michelle Leigh, David Johnson (Ashley), Heather Malick (Jim); grandchildren, Shaina McReynolds (Thomas), Kayla Dickson (Logan), Alyssa McReynolds, Zachary McReynolds (Alexia), Emily Malick, Christopher Malick, Alex Johnson, and Mathew Johnson; five great-grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends.

No formal services will be held.
