Alberta Williams, 90, of Knoxville, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022.

Alberta was a member of Coghill Baptist Church, she loved her church and church family; she also dearly loved Polk County and cleaning, and she loved the Stephens family.

She was preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Marchie Stephens; husband, Hoyt Williams; daughter, Phyllis McNelly; son, Hoyt David Williams; grandsons, Chase McNelly and Anthony Drake Williams; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Clyde Brown, Helen and Paul Davis, Margaret and Don Stone, Willie and Roscoe Moates, Elizabeth Carr; brothers and sisters-in-law, C.F. and Agnes Stephens, Don and Betty Stephens, Jerry Stephens; sister-in-law, Carolyn Stephens; brother-in-law, John Hall.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Austin and Robin Williams; son-in-law, Rick McNelly; grandsons and spouses, Jason Williams, Jared and Kelli Williams, Dustin and Tara McNelly; great-grandchildren and spouses, Jordan and Hannah Clark, Chase and Carly McNelly, great-great-granddaughters, Kamdyn and Kendal Williams; great-great-great grandchildren, Rory-Kate and Hixson Clark; brother, J.C. Stephens; sister, Charlotte Hall; brother-in-law and spouse, Hoyt and Diane Carr; sister-in-law, Francis Stephens; numerous special nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 4, 2022 in Green Hill Cemetery with Bobby Stair officiating.
