Alfred "A.O." Williams, 92, of Etowah, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home.A son of the late Bob and Frona Williams, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annabelle Williams; and one sister, Lula Stewart Raxter. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Melvin and Geneva Williams of Charleston; one sister, Bobbie Coe of Maryville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Hatcher officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
