Alice L. Thomas, 91 ofEtowah, TNpassed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens. A native and life long resident of Etowah, she is preceded by her husband Claude Thomas and daughter Linda Thomas, parents William and Ola Green.

She is survived by her daughter, Scarlett, son-in-law, Bob Dender of Summerville, SC, three grandchildren: Rodney Dender, wife Carleen of Traveler's Rest, SC; Angela Schwartz, husband Rich of Greenville, SC; Brian Dender, wife Michelle of Simpsonville, SC and six great grandchildren.

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday January 8, 2017 at Etowah Cemetery withLay speaker Dennis Bordwine officiating.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday January 8, 2017 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.
