Allan "Al" Boyd Hairris, 85, of Etowah, TN passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026. 

Al loved working on the farm, and driving his tractor was one of his favorite things. When he wasn't on his beloved tractor, he could be found watching his favorite westerns or cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers. Al was a strong loving family man, who enjoyed nothing more that time with his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and he will be greatly missed. 

Preceded in death by his parents, William "Bill" and Blanche Hairris; son, David Hairris; siblings, Emma-Lou Hairris, Ruferd "Red" Elmer Hairris, Mary Slack, Norman Hairris, Claudella Culberson, Billie Hairris, Ben Hairris, and Alice Collins. 

Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Ann Hairris; daughter, Judy Hairris Cordell and fiancé' Chrys Mashburn; grandchildren and spouses, Allan Hairris, Cameron and Olivia Cordell, and Stephen and Hannah Cordell; great-grandchildren, Weston, Madison, Emma and Caroline Cordell; sister, Nellie "Nell" Justice. 

Family and friends will assemble at McMinn Memory Gardens on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 for the 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
