Amelia May Clark, 78, of Etowah, Tennessee passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022.

A native of London, England, May was a resident of Etowah, Tennessee for the last 27 years. May and her husband Dave became naturalized U.S. citizens and developed a great fondness for this country, the beautiful scenery of East Tennessee, and the local community and its residents. She was a long-time employee of Jackson Furniture in Cleveland, Tennessee where she loved and was beloved by her coworkers. May enjoyed the peaceful life of East Tennessee and felt blessed to have been able to watch her grandchildren grow up.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gwendolyne Homewood and Reginald Wyatt; her husband, Dave Clark; and her daughter, Debra Clendenen.

She is survived by her daughter, Sonia Browne of England; two granddaughters, Caitlin and Molly Browne of England; and two grandsons, David and Matthew Clendenen of the United States.

Family and friends are invited to the memorial service on Friday, May 20, at 6:00 pm ET, with services officiated by Rev. Jack Bryan at 7:00 pm ET at Bordwine Funeral Home in Etowah. May chose to be cremated with half of her ashes to be scattered in both the United States and England at private family ceremonies.
