A native of McMinn County and resident of McMinn County for most of her life, she was a daughter of the late S.N. Land, Sr. and Nora Pangle Land. She was of the Christian faith, and was preceded in death by four brothers, S.N. Land, Jr., Orvel Land, Paul Land and Fender Land; and two sisters, Pearl McKinney and Alma Ruth Land.
Survivors include one sister, Flora Adams of Athens and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Cochran Cemetery with Layspeaker Holly Cass officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 15th at the funeral home.
