Annie Jo Johnson, 85 of Etowah passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Starr Regional Health and Rehabilitation Center of Etowah. She is a daughter of the late John Henry and Winnie Mae Roberson .Annie Jo and her husband Paul moved from GA 62 years ago and started Johnson Upholstery of Etowah.

Survivors include her daughter, Paulette Coleman; two sons, David and Johnny Johnson; two sisters, Peggy Roberson and Waldine Childers; two brothers, Winston and Jerry Roberson; four grandchildren, Ron, Shane, Josh and Angie.

Most of her 85 years family and friends called her Jo. But her last three years her new found family at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home in Etowah called her Miss Annie. She loved and was loved by her new family. She enjoyed arts, crafts, games and music but most of all the love and attention knowing she was special. Her family wants all these wonderful people to know that we also love you all and can't thank you enough. Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2017 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Ron Carroll officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow service to Green Hill Cemetery.
