Obituary

Annie Julia "Judy" Snyder Weber, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at her residence after a long courageous battle with cancer. She lived most of her life in McMinn County and was born in Marietta, Ga. She was a member of First Christian Church of Etowah, and was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW. She was a daughter of the late F.M. and Pearle Snyder. Survivors include her husband, Bill Weber of Athens; one son and his fiancée, Jim Cross and Stacy Wilcox of Cleveland; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Phaiy Cross of Midwest City, Okla.; one daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline and Roger Bell of Madisonville; a special sister and brother-in-law, McRae and Harry Williams of Athens; one stepdaughter, Angela Young of Madisonville; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of wonderful and caring friends. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Green Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Guinn Green officiating. There will be no formal visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kinser Church of God, 140 Kinser Rd. SE, Cleveland, TN 37323.
