Austin "Smiley" Miller, 78 of Etowah, TN passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Life Care Center of Athens. He was a son of the late Thomas and Minnie Miller and worked at McKeehan Chair as an upholsterer.

Preceded in death by 3 brothers, Thomas Miller, Clifford Miller and Albert Miller; 3 infant brothers and 1 infant sister.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Louise Miller of Etowah; sisters, Katherine Louise Simpson of Athens and Pat Eaves Riggs of Madisonville; brothers, Arthur J.R. Miller of Cleveland and James Loyd Miller of Madisonville; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 16, 2016 at McMinn Memory Gardens with Pastor Lee Ingram officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
