Authur Ray Tallent, 84 of Englewood, TN passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Parkwest Medical Center. A son of the late William Leo and Mae Buckner Tallent and was a member of First Baptist Church Englewood.

Preceded in death by his parents; son, Stephen Timothy Tallent; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Mary Ella Crye Tallent of Englewood; daughter, Cynthia Lou Tallent of Englewood; sister, Mary Ann Tallent Sheffy of Athens; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas Elmer Crye and Mary Ruth Jack Crye of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Bordwine Funeral Homewith Pastor Russ Maples officiating. Family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., Thursday prior to the service.

Interment will follow service at Conasauga Cemetery.
