Avis Ballew "Mamaw", 90 of Etowah, TN passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at her daughter's residence. She was a Daughter of the late W.C. and Malissie Kilby Burrell.

Preceded in death by her 1st husband, Parl Paris Norwood; 2nd husband, Hoyt Ballew; son, Ronald Norwood; grandsons, Keith and Kevin Robinson; great-grandchildren, Samantha and Dustin Robinson; brothers, Amos Burrell, James Burrell and infant brother; son-in-law, Dale Tallent; sister-in-law, Imogene Burrell

Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Rowland officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at Rural Vale Cemetery Wednesday, May 13, 2015 for the 11:00 a.m. committal service. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
