B. Christine Triplett Newman, 89 of Englewood, TN peacefully entered Heaven surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

She was a daughter of the late John and Pearl Triplett of Benton.

Preceded in death by 2 brothers, John and Kenneth Triplett; sister, Eva Triplett; son-in-law, Bryant Martin; and daughter-in-law, Sandy Newman.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Eddie and Claudia Newman of Decatur, TN, Joe Newman and fiancé Elizabeth Blair of Englewood, TN, Evelyn and Art Walker of Englewood, TN, Carol Martin of Etowah, TN; grandchildren and spouses, Sallie and Wendell Cate of Riceville, TN, Joey and Kelly Newman of Etowah, TN, Jeremi and Jackie Martin of Etowah, TN, Eric and Vanessa Martin of Athens, TN, Brenton Martin of Etowah, TN, Cameron Smith of Knoxville, TN; great-grandchildren, Zack Cate, Abbie Cate, Zoey Newman, Russell Newman, Molly Harrop, Annabeth Martin, Walker Martin, Emma Martin, Addyson Martin, Jacob Martin, Gavin Martin, Greyson Murdock Martin, Mason Goins and Amy Goins; great-great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Cate, Benjamin Mullen, Anslee Cate, and Zack Cate, Jr. due this June; brothers, Curtis and Dan Triplett; sister, Gina Sampson; special nieces, Jeannie Norman and Annette Davis.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Mars Hill Cemetery with Rev. Greg Hutsell officiating.
