Barbara Anne Hubbard Shearer, age 79, of Etowah TN passed away Monday June 24, 2019.  She was born on February 11, 1940 in Greensboro, NC.

Preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert Shearer; mother, Helen Hubbard; and son, Scott Shearer.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Shearer; uncles and spouses, Charlie and Joyce Smith, Don and Mary Helen Smith; aunt, Margaret Southern; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Jackie Hubbard; several cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Barbara had a great love for Jesus Christ, gardening, sewing, crocheting and cooking. She was former president of the garden club and office manager for the dental practice.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26 ^th at the funeral home.                            Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 27, 2019 and proceed to Green Hill Cemetery for the 11:30 a.m. graveside service with Sam Melton officiating.
