Beatrice "Bea" Matthews Wilson, age 91 of Etowah, TN, a native of Cosby, TN, went home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at her residence with her daughter, Jeanette; son, David and grandchildren by her side after a lengthy battle with cancer. Bea worked at Millard Johnson, Etowah Manufacturing, and Oak Ridge until her retirement the last 26 years. She was a daughter of the late Arlie and Leota Matthews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul P. Wilson; daughter, Bernice Ricker Lowe; grandson, Dewight Hicks; sisters, Dorothy Frazier, Naomi Woody, Marie Stines and Helen Matthews; brothers, Eugene, Harvey and Scott Matthews.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law: David Wilson and Clifford and Roxie Wilson all of Etowah, TN; daughters and sons-in-law: Jeanette and James Whitener and Ruth and Dillard Hicks all of Etowah, TN; grandchildren, April Key, Amber Pritchett, Vicki Bunch, Rhonda Price, Gary Wilson, and Teresa Allen; great-grandchildren, Ashland Fitch, Austin Key, Alyssia Piper Key, Aleczander Key, Rain Pritchett, Triston Pritchett, Shelbi Knox, Ethan Bunch, Cassidy Hicks, Caston Allen, Camdon Allen and Clifton Wilson; sister, Artell Richardson; brother and spouse, Edward and Faye Matthews.Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, November, 13, 2013 and proceed to Love Cemetery for the11 :00 a.m., committal service. Pallbearers will be Nathan Bunch, James Key, Daniel Pritchett, James Whitener, Glenn Matthews, Will Davis, and Austin Key.
