Betty Louise Caudill, 81, of Etowah, died Thursday, January 7, 2010 at her residence. A native of Delaware and resident of McMinn County for the past 47 years, she was a daughter of the late George H. and Margaret Ellen Trigg Miller. She was of the Baptist faith, and was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Caudill, Jr.; a son, Butch Miller; and a brother, William Miller. Survivors include her son, Walter "Talmy" Caudill, III of Etowah; four grandchildren and spouses, Candice and Kenneth Allen, Celeste and Chris Grubb, Mindy and Scott Anthony and Josh Miller; 7 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ralph Miller of New Castle, Delaware. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2010 in the South Chapel with the Rev. David Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Cog Hill Cemetery. Kenneth Allen, Chris Grubb, Wayne Smith, Dewayne McAllister, David Campbell and Scott Anthony will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
