Billie Ray "Bill" Brown of Loudon, TN, formerly of Hobe Sound, FL, passed away, Saturday, November 2, 2024.

Bill was born in Chattanooga, TN but spent most of his life in South Florida.

He served in the Navy for two years. Graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Florida State University made him a diehard Seminole.

During his time at Florida State, Lee Corso was the quarterback and Burt Reynolds was the running back.

Most of Bill's working career was spent in banking in Florida. During that time, we completed graduate level degrees in marketing and credit analysis.

Bill had a lifelong commitment to service. He volunteered with the American Heart Association. He was a longtime volunteer and board member for the South Florida Fair.

His faith in Jesus Christ and his lifelong commitment to the church was a huge part of his life. He served in many board positions, taught Bible studies and Sunday school. He loved singing in the choir.

Bill and his wife Karen enjoyed traveling across the United States and were avid cruisers to countries abroad.

Bill is survived by his wife, Karen, of 68 years; his daughter Kelly (Ken) Parrish and their children, Matthew (Christina) Parrish and their daughters, Carrolyn and Emily; his granddaughter, Samantha (AJ) Kitchen and their son, Boden. He is also survived by his younger daughter, Kimberly Rupp and her husband Mark Robitaille and Kimberly's children, son, Jordan Rupp and daughter, Alex Rupp and her husband, Robbie Johnson and their daughter Lakelyn.

Bill was a wonderful husband and father and an awesome grandfather. He will be truly missed by those that knew and loved him. The family is having a private Celebration of Life during the Thanksgiving Holiday.
