Billie Rose Price Hammonds, 81, of Athens, TN, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024.

Billie Rose was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. She loved quilting, cooking elaborate Sunday dinners for her family and punch parties. Billie loved spending special time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Hammonds in 2018 after 57 years of marriage; her parents, Ransom and Vesta Price; son-in-law, Doug Fugate; siblings, Sybol Irons, Jackie Rudd, Don Price, Bobby Price, Jimmy Price, Charles Price, Helen Price and Reba Price; brothers-in-law, Jim Constant, Chip Hammonds and Bill Hammonds; sister-in-law, Ann Hammonds.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Shannon Hammonds Frazier, Marty and LeAnn Hammonds, Carmen Hammonds Fugate, Russell and Sherrie Hammonds; grandchildren and spouses, Lindsey and Jerid Womac, Matthew Frazier, Chelsea Fugate and Andy Jones, Parker and Morgan Fugate, Sherilyn Hammonds, Henry Hammonds, Karli Rose Hammonds and Ross Stephens, Samuel Price and Jessica Hammonds and Jordan Hammonds; great grandchildren, Macy Frazier, Mia Rose Frazier, Lexi Womac, Zeke Womac, Reid Jones, Ryleigh Mae Jones, Gauge Jones, Addison Fugate and Max Stephens; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Carolyn Price; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Stanley and Jamie Hammonds, Patty Constant and Tammy Hammonds.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2024, in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Stan Hammonds officiating.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery on Sunday, September 22nd, for the 2:00 p.m. committal service.

Matthew Frazier, Parker Fugate, Henry Hammonds, Sam Hammonds, Andy Jones, Ross Stephens and Jerid Womac will be serving as pallbearers.
