Billy R. Casteel, Sr., 82, of Etowah, TN passed away Monday, March 16, 2020.

Preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie L. Holcomb Casteel; son, Billy Ray Casteel, Jr.; sister, Phyllis Dean Colboch of Etowah; brother, Charles Edward Casteel of Etowah.

He was a son of the late Charles and Ellie Casteel; and he was a member of Conasauga Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and David Millsaps of Vonore; brother and sister-in-law, Spence and Erma Casteel of Etowah; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann and Billy White of Delano, Shirley Rose and Kenneth Buckner of Englewood; sister-in-law, Alma Casteel of Etowah; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jackie and Shirley  Holcomb; several nephews and nieces.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2020 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Best officiating.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday prior to the service.                                                                                                 Family and friends will assemble at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 20 ^th at the funeral home and proceed to Eleazar Cemetery for the 2:00 p. m. committal service.
