Billy Daniel Caughron, Sr., 81, of Etowah, TN went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

Billy enjoyed cheering on the Tennessee Vols and fishing in bass tournaments in his spare time.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Arthur and Nellie Pauline Caughron; sons, James Caughron and Danny Freeman; brother-in-law, Benji Morgan.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Caughron; children and their spouses, Billy and Tanya Caughron, Tony and Dee Dee Smith, Loren and Paula Burrell; grandchildren, Danielle Caughron, Michael and Candace Ogle, Nicholas Smith; great grandchildren; Raeleigh and Denver Ogle; sister, DeLorse Morgan.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 21, 2023 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. David Morgan officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday prior to the service.
