Billy Ray Culberson, 80, of Englewood, TN passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014at his residence. He was a son the late Joe and Effie Torbett Culberson. He was a retired businessman and he served in the US Army during the Korean War.

Preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Faye Copeland Culberson; brother, Kenneth Culberson; sister, Ventola Culberson Haun.

Survivors include 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Curtis C. and Mildred Culberson and Eddie and Nellie Baxter; sisters and brother-in-law, Zilpha Lee and Bill Coleman and Grace Malone; his special love, Huberta Williams; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in the Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Russ Maples and Layspeaker Joe Haun officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., Thursday and proceed to McMinn Memory Gardens for the 11:00 a.m. committal service with Military Honors.
