Billy Ray Devine, 74 of Englewood, TN passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was a son of the late Fred and Mary Ann "Isaacs-Vance" Devine; and worked at Beaunit Fibers in Etowah and retired a local dairy farmer.

Proceded in death by his parents, listed above; brother, William Jake Devine; sisters, Diane Devine and Anna Bell "Devine" Wright.

Billy never met a stranger and it seemed that he knew just about everyone in McMinn and Monroe Counties. He enjoyed sitting around recalling stories of family, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Patsy Peeler Devine of Englewood, TN; sons, Billy Devine, Jr. of Athens, TN and Bobby Devine of Englewood, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon Devine-Torbett and husband "Dinky"; granddaughter, Amberlyn Devine of Englewood, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Mason and Susie Devine of Maryville, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Faye Devine and C.A. Moses of Madisonville, TN, Joyce Devine-Harrell of Madisonville, TN, Nioma Devine and Doug Hooper of Madisonville, TN, Wanda Devine and Rick Grove of Greenback, TN and Connie Devine and Wendell Downey of Greenback, TN; 7 nieces and 3 nephews; a very special and loving friend, Cathy Maurer of Athens, TN.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm., Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Sunrise Cemetery with Pastor Scott Cardin of the Englewood Church of God and Rev. Jace Detrie of the Athens Lutheran Church officiating. No formal visitation will be held.

Chris Downey, Dinky Torbett, Shannon Torbett, Wendell Downey, Wayne Wright and C.A. Moses will serve as pallbearers.
