Blanche "Granny" Puett, 92of Etowah, TNpassed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at Etowah Healthcare Center. She was adaughter of the late Oscar and Nettie Moore and amember of Coghill Baptist Church.She spent over 30 years caring for children in her home.

Preceded in deathby her parents, listed above; brothers, Otis, James, Carl, and Fred Moore; sisters, Florence Hale and Gladys Hicks; grandson, Cheyenne Armstrong; great-grandson, Dawson Lairmore.

Blanche enjoyed spending time with her family

Survivors include her husband of 74 years,Loyd Puett; sons and daughters-in-law,Danny and Zelma Puett,Wendell and Karen Puett,Doyle and Gayle Puett; daughter and fiancé,Neta Goodman and Richard Crutchfield;4 granddaughters and husbands;Scarlet and Michael Poteet,Wendy and Lloyd Jones,Shelly and Joe Lairmore,Mandy Puett;2 great-grandchildren,Dalten Lairmore andClaudia Lairmore.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 6 2016 at Coghill Baptist Church withRev. Joe Hatcher officiating.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday October 5, 2016 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.

Interment will follow the service in Coghill Cemetery.
