Bobby E. Hollifield, 61, of Etowah, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at his home. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was a son of the late Emerson Claude and Ethel Hollifield. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Wayne, Zeb, Charles and Vernon Hollifield; and one nephew, Freddie Hollifield.Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Windy Hollifield and Usery Underwood and Ronda Hollifield White; two granddaughters, Sabra White and Taylor Underwood; two stepchildren, Denise Felker and Kenny Felker; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Jerry Murphy; and several nephews and one niece. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Friday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Dr. Harold Curtis officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
