Bobby Allen Kirksey, 76 of Englewood, TN passed away on Sunday January 19, 2020 following a long battle with heart disease.

He leaves behind his wife, Judy Kirksey of Englewood; two sons, Mike Kirksey and wife, Marla of Chattanooga, Tracy Kirksey and wife, Susan of Englewood; daughter, Shari High and husband Martin of Niota; five grandchildren, Matthew, Alex, Aaron, Nick and Alyssa; sister, Diane Higgins.

Bob was born May 20, 1943 and spent most of his life in or around Englewood, Tennessee.  He was a member of Englewood Christian Church where he faithfully served God as an Elder; Sunday school teacher; and sang in the choir for many years.  He retired from Bowater Southern Paper Corporation. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors, camping, boating on Tellico Lake, watching old westerns and the Tennessee Vols and being with his family.

Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Bob also had a compassion for people and rarely met a stranger. Those that were blessed enough to know him will surely miss him but can be assured that he is with God now and will always be in our hearts.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2020 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Minister Jody Owens and Minister Davey Lewis officiating.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 22 ^nd and proceed to McMinn Memory Gardens for the 12:00 noon Interment.

Matt Kirksey, Alex Kirksey, Aaron Kirksey, Nicholas Kirksey, Claude Cochran and John Hale will serve as pallbearers.
