Bobbye Jean Swartout,79 of Englewood, TN passed away Friday, May 22, 2015 at her residence. She was a Daughter of the late James Parnick McClary and Ruby Sproule McClary Dobbs.

Preceded in death by her husband, James Wayne Swartout; son, Clayton Wayne Swartout.

Survivors include, daughter and son in law, Leslie and Herb West of Englewood, TN; grandson, James Rowland of Englewood; granddaughters, Megan Swartout and Grace Swartout of Athens, TN; daughter in law, Jeanne Sanders Swartout of Athens; half-sister, Kay Melton of Etowah, TN and many special friends.

She was a member of Wesley Memorial UMC, Etowah, TN.

Bobbye Jean was a retired chief Lab Technician at Cleveland Community Hospital. She enjoyed substitute teaching after retirement.She lovedgardening and going to eat at Scottie's Restaurant in Etowah with friends .

Graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2015at Green Hill Cemetery with Rev.Billy Kurtzofficiating.
