Brandon Heath Starkey, 34, of Etowah, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012, at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah and a 1995 graduate of McMinn Central High School. He completed his CNA in 2010, and loved working in the healthcare services. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Steve and Jean Wood and Luther and Elisa Starkey. Survivors include his parents, Luther and Debbie Starkey of Etowah; one brother and sister-in-law, Chad and Lacey Starkey of Athens; Daughter, Branna Hope Starkey of Etowah; Girlfriend, Chelsie Kersey of Etowah; two nieces, Savannah Claire Starkey and Scarlett Starkey; Several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and special friends. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 7th at Green Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends Monday, February 6th from 5 to 8 p.m., in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home.
