Brunner Young, 78, of Englewood, TN passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024.

He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and attended First Church of God in Englewood, TN

Preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Nell Isbill Young; brothers, Bruce and Melvin Young; brother-in-law, Doug Whitener; sisters-in-law, Brenda Torbett Young and Margaret Bowers Young.

Survived by his loving wife, of 49 years, Patricia Whitener Young; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene Young of Etowah, Reece and Robin Young of Sweetwater, Paul and Becky Young of Englewood, Glenn and Louise Young of Riceville; granddaughter, Megan Young; sister-in-law, Glenda Whitener and Sue Young; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2024 in McMinn Memory Gardens with Pastor Chris Alexander officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 14th in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.

Lee Whitener, Jason Young, Jeff Young, Jeremy Young, Terry Young and Nathan Whitener will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Stan Young, Doug Young and Scott Young.
