Calvin Buckner, 79 of Englewood, TN passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at his home.

He was a native of Monroe County, TN and a son of the late Arthur and Edna Buckner of Middletown, OH.

Preceded in death by his brother, James Buckner of Middletown, OH; sister, Stella Wagers of Middletown, OH; granddaughter, Shantana Simpson of Ogden, UT.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Roberta Buckner of Englewood, TN; brother, RC Buckner of Middletown, OH; 3 brothers-in-law, Loyal Wagers of Middletown, OH, Dennis Chappell of SC, Chuck Chappell of Dayton, OH; 5 sons; 3 daughters; several grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and lots of friends, he will be missed forever.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 18, 2018 with Masonic Service to follow in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Jim Stakely officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m., Friday, at the funeral home and proceed to Ebenezer Cementer for the 11:00 a.m., committal service.
