Carey Hooper, 44 originally of Etowah, TN., passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025.

Carey was an avid fisherman and Tennessee Vols fan. He greatly loved his family and friends.  Carey enjoyed taking care of pets of all types, especially his fur baby Rocko.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Annette Hooper of Etowah, TN and Gary Hooper of Athens, TN.

Survivors include his stepmother, Lisa Hooper of Lenoir City, TN.; sister, Cody Gregory of Athens, TN; brother, Will Hooper of Lenoir City, TN; niece, Jaden Moates of Athens, TN; several aunts, uncle and cousins.

A  memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2025 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday prior to the service.
