A long hard fought battle ended peacefully for Carl Edward "Randy" Davis, Jr., 67, on Friday, September 25, 2015. A residence of Etowah all of his life and son of the late Carl Edward "Buzz" Davis, Sr. and Mary Sue Whitaker.

He was of the Baptist faith and former member of North Etowah Baptist Church. Employed at CSX Railroad as an Engineer; and McMinn County Deputy Sheriff and assistant property tax assessor. He was an accomplished guitarist and teacher of the art; he was also an avid golfer with several title credits to his name.

Preceded in death by his parents, listed above; and infant son, Dandy.

Survivors include, 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Brian Davis of Georgetown, TN, Jason and Ashley Davis of Athens, TN; brother, Shaun Davis of Etowah, TN; sister and brother-in-law,Sherie L. and Donald Watters of Etowah, TN; nieces, Jill Brock, Megan Watters Pruitt and Susan Fry; multiple extended family and special friends too numerous to count will never be forgotten.

Revised Service Information: A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2015 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. Friends are encouraged to attend.

No formal visitation will be held.
