Carolyn Josephine (Gordon) Pratt – age 85 of Sweetwater, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

Carolyn was born and raised in Etowah, TN.  After graduating high school, she moved to Knoxville to work at the Standard Knitting Mill, married her husband Glyn, and started a family.  After raising their boys, she and Glyn moved to Sweetwater, TN.  She lived a full life, with her beautiful blue eyes and constant smile she made friends everywhere she went.  She loved people and often had the house full of family, friends, and neighbors who loved her cooking.  She was good at so many things, including quilting, gardening, sewing, decorating cakes, and helping on the farm.

Preceded in death by parents, Colonel Lee and Mellie (Rucker) Gordon; her husband of 55 years, Glyn Allen Pratt; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Mary Gordon; sister, Evelyn Gordon; brother-in-law, J.L. Gentry; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Louise and Clarence Reed; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Reford and Lily Pratt; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Ray Christy.

Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Dee-Dee Pratt, Chad and Stacey Pratt; grandchildren, Kara and Jim Cabage, Caleb Pratt, Myleah Pratt, Hudson Pratt, and Elin Pratt; great-granddaughter, Lilly Cabage; sister, Shirley Gentry; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Darrell and Sue Pratt; lots of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Conasauga Cemetery, Englewood, TN 37329, with Pastor Morgan Lester officiating.
