The family of Catherine R. Frame with saddened hearts announce her passing but are grateful in knowing that she now forever rests in the sweet arms of Jesus. Catherine, 80, a native of McMinn County, passed on June 22, 2012 at Woods Memorial Hospital. She is retired from Etowah Manufacturing Company. Catherine was the daughter of the late Claude and Alice Nichols both of Etowah. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Angelia M. Frame; brother, Curtis Nichols both of Etowah and infant grandson, Charlie Ervin. She is survived by 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law, Meryle L. Bates and Sandra K. and Glen Riggs; sister, Claudella Farmer; sister-in-law, Vicki Nichols all of Etowah. Catherine was the grandmother to seven grandchildren, Andy Kincaid, V.J. Ervin, Terri Perian, Bryan Bates, Heather Boles, Melody Bates and Mark Riggs; and great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren, Miles and Dawson Kincaid, Halli and Ashlyn Bates, Gavin Riggs, Abbi and Harper Ervin and Bryce Perian.Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 24, 2012, in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Taylor officiating. Family and friends will proceed to Etowah Cemetery for the committal service. There will be no formal visitation. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
