Cecelia Kay "C.K." Townsend Woody, age56of Etowah, TN,passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at her residence. She was a native of Etowah and thedaughter of the late Thoris Cecil Townsend and Betty Joan Townsend. She was proceded in death byher parents listed above, and son, Travis Chad Woody.

CK was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She had a strong faith in God and was an honest, caring, giving person that loved with all her heart. CK never met an animal that she didn't love. Her family is thankful that she is now with family and friends up above. CK will be missed and her memory will be cherished, but we know one day we will be together again.

Survivors include her husband;Randall Mack Woody of Etowah, TN,daughter and son in-law;Stephanie Ann and Matthew Riffey of Corryton, TN, granddaughters;Katie, Emma, and Brylee, sisters and brothers-in-law;Linda and Tom Prosser of Etowah, TN,Sandra Buckner of Etowah, TN,Steve and Mary Woody of Calhoun, TN, andDan and Jo Woody of Etowah, TN, sister-in-law;Dale Sisson of Cleveland, TN, andlifelong friend;Anna Adams, several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and friends

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 27 2015, in the south chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2015 prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the McMinn County Humane Society at P.O. Box 7, Athens, Tennessee 37371.
