Obituary

Charle R. Breedlove, 70, of Englewood, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Mcminn Memorial Nursing Home. He was a native of McMinn County and the son of the late Alice Breedlove. He was a member of the Mars Hill United Methodist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a retired local business man, and had served as the District 4 McMinn County Constable for the last 15 years. He was preceeded in death by his mother, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kathrine and Andrew Cook, and a sister, Betty Brady.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sylvia Cook Breedlove of Englewood; daughters and sons-in-law, Jill and Darin Edwards of Athens, Sandy and Joe Ward of Athens, and Teresa and Dave Proctor of Birmingham, AL; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bennie and Edward Brannon and Helen and Beecher Coleman, all of Tellico Plains; grandchildren, Dillion Edwards, Jacey Edwards, Haley Ward, Luke Proctor, Jake Proctor, and Shelley Proctor, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September the 11, 2010, at the Mars Hill United Methodist Church with Pastor Bob Hamilton and the Rev. Richard Tallent officiating. The interment will follow in the Mars Hill Cemetery with military honors. Ricky Watson, Jmaes Coleman, Darin Edwards, Jeff Blair, Joe Ward, and Roger Watson will serve as pallbearers. The family will recieve freinds from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2010 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.
