Charles E. Blair, 87 of Etowah, TN went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family and reunited with his loving wife, Betty Blair on May 7, 2019 at Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens.

He was a son of the late Harless and Mattie Bell Blair; he was a faithful member of North Etowah Baptist Church for over 40 years; a member of Etowah Rotary Club for many years and was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow Award; he served in the United States Army from 1947 to 1949; he retired after 25 years from the Buick Division of General Motors Cooperation; he owned and operated Blair's Bo-Kay Florist for over 30 years.

Preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Betty Blair; parents; brothers, Billy Blair, Wayne Blair, Archie Blair and Dennis Blair.

Survivors include his daughters and their spouses, Debra and William Edmonds of Bay City, MI, Catherine and Kenneth Millsaps of Sweetwater, TN, Pamela and Phillip Patterson of Etowah, TN; son and spouse, Matt C. and Nikki Blair of Etowah, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Paul Coleman; brother and sister-in-law, Broughton and Betty Blair, Van Allen and Debbie Blair; grandchildren and spouses, Brent and Kelley Edmonds, Trevor Edmonds, Lyndsay Edmonds, Jennifer Patterson, Sarah and Trevor Wright, Haden Blair and Landen Blair; great-grandchildren, Finn Edmonds and Delaney Wright.

Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2019 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Wade, Dennis Bordwine, William Edmonds and Haden Blair officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, May 9 ^th at the funeral home and proceed to McMinn Memory Gardens for the 10:00 a.m. committal service.
