Charles Martin, 84, of Etowah, TN passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

Charles was a graduate of Etowah High School. He was a lifelong prankster; he loved the outdoors and was a worldwide traveler always looking for adventure. He was an electrician who always treated his customers well. He enjoyed UT sports and music, specifically bluegrass, and vintage cars. He was a member of North Etowah Baptist Church. Charles loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Turk and Gussie Martin; sisters, Sue Hayes and Olga Martin; brothers, Zell Martin, Spec Martin, Wendy Martin and Ted Martin.

He is survived by his wife, Susie Martin; daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Roger Amrhein, Pamela and Sean Hobbs; grandchildren, Bethany Grace Hobbs and Reid Wesley Hobbs; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 12, 2025 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Perry officiating.

Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at Green Hill Cemetery, Sunday, April 13th for the 1:00 p.m. committal service with Dennis Bordwine officiating.
