Charles Franklin McCullough, 75, of Etowah, peacefully went to be with our Lord on Monday, July 30, 2012, at his residence with his family surrounding his bedside.He was a native of Vonore, lived in Sweetwater, was a resident of Englewood for 15 years and had lived in Etowah for the past 20 years. He was the owner of Gulf Service Station in Delano for many years. A son of the late James Franklin and Gracie Lou Carpenter McCullough, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Archie, Dave and John McCullough; and five sisters, Marthie Pitman, Faye Crabtree, Viola Green, Mary Ruth Smithey and Elthie Tinnell. Survivors include his wife, Margaret McCullough of Etowah; two sons, Rick McCullough of Dalton, Ga., and CW4 Wayne McCullough of Etowah; one daughter, Donna Milford of Cleveland; one sister, May Hatfield of Delano; three brothers, Jim McCullough of Delano, Ray McCullough of Opelika, Ala., and Bill McCullough of Englewood; five grandchildren, Kristy, Michelle, Lovenia, Darin and Morgan; four great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Aiden, Hannah and Heidi; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Cardin officiating. Burial will follow in McMinn Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
