Charlie Phillip Green, age 45, of Etowah, TN, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 due to injuries in an automobile accident.He was the son of Barbara Miller Green and the late Charles Francis Green. Charlie was an employee of Huber Corp.He was preceded in death by his father listed above, son, Cody Green, and mother in-law, Wanda McDaniel.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years; Lana Green of Etowah, son; Jake Green of Etowah, mother; Barbara Green of Etowah, sisters and brother in-laws; Arlene and Roger Murphy of Etowah and Ann and Dennis Ervin of Athens, father in-law; Bobby McDaniel of Etowah, brother in-laws and wife; David McDaniel of Etowah and Ray and Michelle McDaniel of Athens, nieces and nephews;Tara and Nick Crump of Delano, Lacey and Jason Stewart of Etowah, David Ervin of Athens, Nathan and Ashley Ervin of Knoxville, Justin McDaniel of Athens, Nathan McDaniel of Athens, Jessica and Will Walkins of Englewood, Alyssa McDaniel of Riceville and Caity McDaniel of Etowah, and many more extended family.

Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. Minister Pat Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday prior to the service. Family and Friends will assemble Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home and go in procession for the 2:00 p.m. committal service at Etowah Cemetery.
