Charlotte Rule, 71, of Etowah, TN passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023.

Charlotte wore many names in her 71 years: wife, mom, Nauni, caregiver, business owner, sister, daughter, and many more, but the title that stands out the most is helper. She would be first in line to help anyone that brought a problem to her and wouldn't rest until she had helped.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Doug Rule; parents, Azel and Lucille Torbett; sisters, Brenda Young, Sandy Mason, Jan Hawn; mother- and father-in-law; Charlie and Jean Rule.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Lisa Rule, Dusty and Shannon Rule, Josh and Lacey Rule; grandchildren, Lindsey and spouse, Wes Adams, Sydney Rule, Ethan Rule, Carlee Grace Rule, Lincoln Rule, Cove Rule, Andi Jane Rule; furry friend, Sassy; siblings, Yolanda Cain and Scott Torbett; special friend and neighbor, Micky and Teresa Scroggins; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2023 in Green Hill Cemetery with Rev. Gary Higgins officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m., Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
