Christine Davis Freeman, 82 of Tellico Plains, TN went to her heavenly home on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

She was a member of Maple Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Christine was a devoted Christian who loved sharing and spreading God’s Word.

Christine joined her beloved husband Morris Rex Freeman and her precious daughter, Joanna McDaniel, who met her with open arms. She is also preceded in death by her parents, James Thomas Davis Sr. and Margaret Anna Mae Farner Davis; sisters, Margie Davis Martin and Ivalee Jones; brothers, L.D. and Jess Davis.

Upon the passing of her parents, Christine became a dedicated loving caregiver of her brother, Bud.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Marshall and Annie Freeman; grandchildren and spouses, Justin and Angie McDaniel, Cristin and Garry Nabors, Jeremy McDaniel, Ashlynn Woods, Alison Freeman and boyfriend, Terence, and Allen Freeman; great-grandchildren, Brylee and Zayne Nabors, Odin and Skye McDaniel, and Destiny McDaniel; brother, James “Bud” Davis, and Clarence Davis; sister, Imogene Haines; sister-in-law, Doris Kerley; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday prior to the service.

Interment will follow the service in DeHart Cemetery.
