Christopher Michael Bain, 37, of Etowah, died early Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was a son of the late Glenn and Kate Lawson Bain. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include three sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Jerry Shadden of Englewood, Sandy and Randall Radford of Etowah and Christine "Crissy" Lawson of Athens; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends. Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in the South Chapel with the Rev. James Atkins and the Rev. Allen Watson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday, and proceed to Green Hill Cemetery for an 11 a.m. committal service.
