Clota Elaine Daugherty Mason, 72 of Etowah, TN passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Walter and Trula Daugherty; and a Member of West End Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Mason; grandson, Chris Chadwell; parents; brother, Dennis Daugherty; and brother-in-law, Jerry McMinn. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Randal and Michelle Woods; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Dale Perkins; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Michelle Mason; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Joe Winder; grandchildren, Becca Woods and Jared Perkins; sister, Gloria McMinn; sister and brother-n-law, Pat and Paul Williams; nephew, Bruce McMinn; niece, Misty Baxter; great-nephew, Chris Raper; and great-niece, Kaitlyn Rogers. A private graveside service will be held at a later date with Rev. Mark Wade officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 5, 2017 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.
