Cora Lee Martin, 90, of Englewood, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at her son's residence. An Englewood resident for the past 80 years, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Nellie Arzader Hampton and was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Albert Martin; three sons, Franklin Plez Martin, Carl Albert Martin and Larry Leon Martin; one grandson, Jeffery Martin; four sisters, Bonnie Johnson, Etta Holcomb, Lucille Torbett and Maud Harris; and seven brothers, Marvin Hampton, Jim Hampton, Burt Hampton, Loyd Hampton, Leslie Hampton, William Hampton and Elmer Hampton.Survivors include one daughter, Lollita Tucker of Englewood; three sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Connie Martin of Knoxville, Marvin Dwight and Grace Martin of Etowah, and David and Clorette Martin of Englewood; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Myrtle and Paul Moore of Athens, Estavee Stewart of Lenoir City, and Zida Mae Johnson of Etowah; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three special caregivers for the past 2 years, Shan Dillard, Carol Fedewa and Elizabeth Phillips. Thank you for your love and care for our mother, Cora Martin. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Wednesday in the North Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Watson officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home and will proceed to McMinn Memory Gardens for the 10 a.m. burial. Pallbearers will be Jamie Martin, Josh Martin, Cory Martin and Paul Moore.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
