Obituary

Coy Ray Teague, 83, of Alcoa, died Friday, December 24, 2010 at his residence.

A native of Madisonville and resident of Alcoa for 40 years, he was a son of the late Dewey and Beulah Harris Teague. He was a member of First Alcoa United Methodist Church, and was retired from Alcoa Aluminum.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Charlotte Snider Teague of Alcoa; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Steve Williams and Eva and Terry Wilburn, all of Maryville; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Dewey and Linda Teague of Gatlinburg, and Garry Teague of Maryville; four grandchildren, Aubrey Lee, Jennifer Teague, Amanda Teague and Brian Teague; one great-grandchild, Donovan Teague; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Jean Beavers, and Ivy and Bob Hensley, all of Etowah; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 27th in the South Chapel with the Rev. Joe Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
