Cristoba Carter, 90, of Englewood, TN passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025.

Cristoba was married to the love of her life, Eugene, for 71 years. She was a phenomenal cook and was an outstanding wife and mother. Cristoba taught at Englewood Elementary School for 32 years. She was a member of Englewood First Baptist Church and played piano there for over 65 years. She was a standout basketball star for the Englewood Lady Rams. Cristoba was so welcoming to everyone. As a teacher, she was in the perfect position for shaping hearts and minds. In her free time, she loved sitting on her porch at her cabin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Ruth Brock; and brother, Hooper Brock.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene Carter; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie Carter, Larry and Sandra Carter, Gary and Kim Carter; grandchildren and spouses, Michael and Sabrina Carter, Kevin and Jordan Carter, Lindsey and Rob Daniel, Samantha and Tyler Krieg, Travis and Landra Carter, Kristen and Justin Fanger; 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Englewood with Pastor Russ Maples officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow the service in McMinn Memory Gardens.
