Curtis Ivins Hannum, 21, of Rossville, Ga., died Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. He was a native of Annapolis, Maryland, and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga. He was a 2007 graduate of Lakeview-Ft. Oglethorpe High School and had attended Dalton State Community College and Northwest Georgia Technical College. He was the beloved son of Bonnie and John Hannum of Rossville, Ga. Other survivors include one sister, Emily Hannum of Rossville, Ga.; grandparents, Dan and Elizabeth Ivins of Providence, RI, and William and Evelyn Hannum of Bowie, MD; two aunts, Leslie Sipes of W.VA, and Wendy Cicio of Calera, AL; one uncle, Wade Hannum of Arnold, MD; and several other great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2010 at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga with the Rev. Dr. Dan Ivins officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 p.m. Friday at the church prior to the service.
